08.02.2016 Our online tool www.oekobilanz-bau.de is now available with the new life cycle assessment data sets from oekobau.dat 2015. This means that it is now also possible to create DGNB life cycle assessments for the 2015 core system. Another new feature is the evaluation of the impact categories ADPE, ADPF and FW.
As a planner or DGNB auditor, you are confronted with the task of assessing buildings’ entire life cycle – from construction to demolition. With the online software oekobilanz-bau.de, we have developed the solution for you.
Since 2015, a new DGNB certification system has been available for the construction of new office and administration buildings. As part of DGNB certification, a life cycle assessment of the entire building is required. Here, the energy consumption and the CO2 emissions as well as further impact categories (e.g. acid and ozone depletion) are considered.
The new Ökobau.dat 2015 data records have been integrated into our updated online tool www.oekobilanz-bau.desind. This means that it is now also possible to create life cycle assessments for DGNB 2015 certification projects. In addition, the impact categories “Abiotic depletion of fossil fuels (ADPF [MJ]), abiotic resource consumption (ADPE [kg Sb-eq.]) and freshwater resources (WF [m³])” are also evaluated. It is now also possible to view the energy consumption during use. The Excel evaluation, which is subject to a charge, enables the transparent and comprehensible presentation of the results. The format is also suitable for your own analysis and adaptations.
The data records and evaluations based on Ökobau.dat 2010 and Ökobau.dat 2011 can still be used in our old tool.

Life cycle assessment for LEED and BREEAM
The tool is also able to create life cycle assessments for LEED and BREEAM projects. This leads to points in the LEED Credit MR Building Life-Cycle Impact Reduction/Option 4 Whole-Building Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA) and BREEAM Credit MAT01 Life Cycle Impacts.
