19.02.2021 Ramona Schuster (HOINKA GmbH) is one of the first trained WiredScore APs in Germany. The training and exam was offered for the first time in Germany at the end of January. WiredScore certification is an important tool for integrating a modern digital infrastructure into construction projects at an early stage.
WiredScore certification has also been possible in Germany since 2017, and in January 2021 the first training courses to become a WiredScore Accredited Professional finally took place in Germany. WiredScore certification is possible for new buildings, modernizations and existing buildings.
The WiredScore certification focuses on the digital connectivity of properties and the implementation of modern building technologies. The certification stands for a reliable and dependable digital infrastructure – characteristics that are becoming increasingly important as digitalization continues to evolve. Five criteria are assessed for building certification:
- Reliability: reliable digital infrastructure?
- Future-proof: flexibility to adapt to new technologies?
- Mobile telephony: adequate network coverage?
- Selection options: sufficient range of network providers?
- User experience: easy use of digital features?
By meeting these five criteria, buildings are planned and built to be future-proof. Real estate gains sustainable added value.
