March 4, 2026 In Stuttgart, the CENTRAL project, the redesign of a commercial and office building on the site of the former Schwabenzentrum, is in full swing. HOINKA GmbH is supporting the DGNB and WiredScore certifications.
The new CENTRAL should not only meet the highest sustainability requirements, but also impress in terms of user health, well-being, connectivity and building intelligence. The project was medically tested by the Allergy Friendly Buildings Alliance (AFBA) during the planning phase and awarded the pre-certificate for healthy planning. Among other things, the AFBA assesses indoor air quality, material health, cleaning & operation and greening & regeneration.
In addition to certification by the AFBA, the following further certifications are being sought, all with the aim of achieving “platinum”:
- DGNB deconstruction
- DGNB new building
- WiredScore
- SmartScore
Jessica Roth is supporting the project for HOINKA GmbH as a DGNB auditor and is also the contact person for all information relating to material health that is required for the AFBA audit. She is also responsible for implementing the EU taxonomy requirements for new builds. Dorothea Dörr accompanies the WiredScore and SmartScore certifications.
We are delighted to be part of this ambitious project and to contribute to its realization!
