January 8, 2026 HOINKA GmbH accompanies the DGNB certification of the new building project BC3 on the educational campus of the Dieter Schwarz Foundation in Heilbronn.
On the educational campus of the Dieter Schwarz Foundation in Heilbronn, the new building BC3 a pioneering high-rise project. Planned is a 15-storey new building in timber hybrid construction. With around 19,700 m² gross floor area the building not only impresses with its striking architecture with staggered storeys and a light façade design, but also with its comprehensive sustainability concept. Green roof terraces and façades, the use of collected rainwater for irrigation and Photovoltaic systems on the roof surfaces contribute to the climate-friendly orientation of the project. On the ground floor and mezzanine Semi-public uses This will revitalize the area and link the educational campus more closely with the northern city centre. The upper floors will be occupied by the DHBW Heilbronn and the DHBW CAS for teaching, research and administration.
Ramona Schuster was on site in Heilbronn in December and was able to take a look at the current status of the construction work for the project. The demolition of the existing Hofkammer building was completed on February 17, 2025 and was already completed in December. The excavation of the construction pit was in full swing.
