ECORE - ESG Circle of Real Estate
With the ECORE scoring, a standard has been created that combines all regulations, laws, ordinances, and ESG criteria (including the required taxonomy criteria of the EU Action Plan on Sustainable Finance and the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement) as well as successfully completed certifications (DGNB, BREEAM, and LEED). The scoring is dynamic and is constantly adapted to the latest EU requirements. The ESG Circle of Real Estate offers not only funds but also investors, portfolio holders, and project developers the opportunity to determine the ESG status of their properties and to benchmark (or compare) them at individually selected levels. The score value is recorded using a point scale from zero to 100. Comparability within the peer group is a key component of this ESG scoring. ECORE can be used for all asset classes in Germany and Europe. The ECORE scoring model consists of three clusters: Governance, Consumption, and Emissions. We will be happy to advise you personally on further questions relating to sustainable building.
