Synthetic roof and waterproofing membranes from Polyfin AG fulfill LEED and DGNB criteria

15.06.2011 Now you can find the synthetic roof and waterproofing membranes from Polyfin AG in the product database greenbuildingproducts.eu. The root resistant synthetic roof and waterproofing membranes are made of flexible polyolefines with central glass fleece. They are PVC-free, free of plasticisers and heavy metals. furthermore they are bitumen and polystyrene compatible. Because of the white surface the SRI (solar reflection index) achieves a value up to max. 110. this is perfect to reduce the heat island effect.

LEED New Construction:

  • The SRI (solar reflection index) achieves a value up to max. 110. this is perfect to reduce the heat island effect. Hence the product contribute to achieve 1 credit point within the SS Credit 7.2 Heat Island Effect – Roof.
  • The products contain up to 2.5% recycled materials and contribute to achieve LEED credits within MR Credit 4..

DGNB Neubauversion 2009:

  • The products achieve action level 1 to 4 and contribute to achieve 10 (of max. 10) criterion points within Criterion 06 ‘Risks for the regional environment’. ” bei.
