On the occasion of the award ceremony in the premises of the KiTa in the Eimsb\u00fcttel district, the DGNB Chairman, Hermann Horster, praised the realized sustainability concept in the presence of architects and Beiersdorf Executive Board member Zhengrong Liu. The green building certification in accordance with the DGNB procedure was provided by HOINKA GmbH in collaboration with kadawittfeldarchitektur.  <\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2484\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2484\" style=\"width: 590px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2017 post-image \" title=\"DGNB_Certificate_HOINKA\" src=\"https:\/\/hoinka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/DGNB_Zertifikat_HOINKA-1024x774.jpg\" alt=\"The Beiersdorf daycare center receives DGNB Gold certification from the auditors of Hoinka GmbH\" width=\"590\" height=\"446\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2484\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">DGNB certificate award ceremony Photo: \u00a9 m.losse<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>HOINKA GmbH has been supervising the project as a DGNB auditor since 2012. Following a detailed pre-assessment, which served as a basis for the client&#8217;s decision, the client was shown the measures required to achieve DGNB Gold certification. On this basis, HOINKA GmbH drew up a specification sheet for the client, which made it easier for all planners and contractors involved to implement the criteria. Particular emphasis was placed on ensuring that the complex DGNB requirements for the building services, the use of ecological building materials and the construction site documentation were incorporated into the ongoing planning and construction process as smoothly as possible. An ongoing review of the planning also took place.    <\/p>\n<p>Here are some highlights of the project that led to DGNB certification:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thermal comfort: the building volume and building services create a high level of comfort for children and childcare staff in both summer and winter.<\/li>\n<li>Light quality: Daylight is utilized to the maximum through the arrangement of shading systems and skylights as well as the coloring of the surfaces.<\/li>\n<li>Room acoustics: All rooms, including the canteen and staircase corridor areas, are acoustically optimally dampened with high speech intelligibility. <\/li>\n<li>Indoor air: Low-emission and low-emission building materials of the highest quality ensure clean indoor air.<\/li>\n<li>Accessibility: All circulation and movement areas within the KiTa and in the outdoor facilities are designed to meet the highest standards for the disabled.<\/li>\n<li>Energy optimization: Thanks to energy-efficient system technology and a cross-trade energy concept, &#8220;Troplo Kids&#8221; is 58 percent below the legal requirements<\/li>\n<li>Creativity: Beiersdorf AG, as the building owner, organized the &#8220;Art on Building&#8221; ideas competition as part of the new building project and had a work of art erected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The DGNB was founded in 2007 by 16 initiators from various disciplines in the construction and real estate industry. Its aim is to promote sustainable construction.
