The aim is to achieve the highest certification level, DGNB Platinum. <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under the motto &#8220;The future is being created here&#8221;, the Dieter Schwarz Foundation is expanding the educational campus to the west in the coming years. The aim is to create a climate-friendly, urban campus that combines sustainability, diversity, start-up culture and future viability and creates optimal conditions for research, teaching and student life. Plots B and D will be realized in the first construction phase. Work has been underway since the ground-breaking ceremony on May 5, 2025, with completion scheduled for the end of 2027 to the beginning of 2028. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A six-storey office building with approx. 150 workstations, around 170 meeting places and office space for start-ups is being built on site D on a floor area of 1,055 m\u00b2. Together with the communication zones, this creates a modern working environment that enables both communicative working together and focused working alone. Large parts of the first floor are open to the public. The showroom and a caf\u00e9 are located here. The three basement floors contain underground parking, logistics areas and a central energy center for the entire campus. The main tenant of the building will be the Ferdinand Steinbeis Institute (FSI). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ramona Schuster is accompanying the project as DGNB auditor for HOINKA GmbH. The goal is DGNB Platinum &#8211; the highest certification level of the German Sustainable Building Council. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sustainability features at a glance:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hybrid timber construction<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Photovoltaic and PVT modules on several roof surfaces, partly as pergola or sun protection<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Biodiversity roofs combined with PV<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ground-based fa\u00e7ade greening<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Car-free district with automated, publicly accessible bicycle parking facilities<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are delighted to be part of this forward-looking project.
