The legal basis is the <em>Building Energy Act<\/em> (GEG). The aim of the funding is to provide investment incentives for energy-efficient refurbishment measures in order to contribute to climate protection. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you renovate a building with individual energy efficiency measures, you will receive a grant of between 15-50% as part of the &#8220;Federal subsidy for efficient buildings &#8211; individual measures (BEG EM)&#8221;. Individual measures are refurbishment measures that improve energy efficiency but do not achieve an Efficiency House standard overall. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>What is supported by BEG EM?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All measures on buildings that improve energy efficiency are eligible for funding. The specialist planning and construction supervision of the measures by energy efficiency experts can also be subsidized. For certain measures, it is even mandatory to consult an energy efficiency expert (EEE). (Individual measures on the building envelope, system technology, specialist planning and construction supervision) <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Individual measures on the building envelope: 15 % subsidy (EEE required)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">System technology (except heating): 15 % subsidy (EEE required)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Heat generation systems: up to 40 % subsidy<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Heating optimization: 15 % subsidy<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" costs<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The maximum amount of eligible costs is based on the net floor area of the building: you receive 1,000 euros per m\u00b2 of net floor area, up to a maximum of 15 million euros. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In order to receive the grant for measures on the building envelope, system technology and heat generation systems, at least 2,000 euros must be invested. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The minimum investment costs for heating optimization measures are 300 euros. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For energy-efficient refurbishment measures, eligible expenditure is capped at 60,000 euros per residential unit, meaning a maximum grant of 12,000 euros is possible.
